Sustaining high levels of care through a Best in Class training program

Medici Healthcare has built a strong reputation over the last 10 years, providing consistently high levels of care. This has happened because our staff are empowered to provide person centred care through a combination of training, team ethic and defined career progression.

One of the most important members of the Medici staff is our Head of Training, who works closely with leading universities to offer levels of training above those found in the majority of care homes.

Medici staff

All our members of staff have achieved a minimum NVCQ Level 3 in Social Care, with many having obtained Level 5. The level of training provided by Medici Healthcare is such that other local employees now use Medici Healthcare as a resource for training their own staff.  As a result, we have been named a ‘centre of excellence’.

One of the strengths of Medici Healthcare is strong staff retention, achieved via a robust staff career progression program and comfortable staff numbers.

The personal and nursing care she received during her time was exceptional; she was made very comfortable during her last days.

This allows us to provide high levels of care, by enabling staff to adopt a need’s based, resident first approach to care, rather than a time managed approach.
