CQC compliance

All Medici Lifecare facilities will be fully CQC registered and will operate in line with our existing Outstanding rated care home.

The aim of Medici Lifecare is to comply with the following CQC outcomes at an Outstanding level.
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.

Our Promise

‘Our residents will be protected from abuse and avoidable harm’.

The Medici Safety Management System will be embedded in all that we do at Medici Lifecare.

  • The 10 areas of our Safety Management System are continually reviewed, making changes where needed.
  • Quarterly Governance meetings are held to seek sustainability in our practices.
  • All staff are trained in safeguarding and will be continually involved in any areas of concern.

Our care, treatment and support will achieve good outcomes in order to maintain quality of life’.

  • Medici prides itself on its relationships with outside professionals and these help us to meet complex care needs.
  • We have an inclusive relationship with Speech and Language therapists and a highly specialised Dietician.
  • Working together, we ensure that all our residents have a sustainable care plan with ideals and goals set.
  • A support club runs to help bereaved family members and residents alike.

  • We believe care, compassion and communication are the 3 key factors to ensure the comfort, dignity and safety of our residents.  As such, we only employ staff who are driven to help and support others, who are dedicated and compassionate and have the ability to work well within a team.
  • FREDA is the heart of everything we do within Medici Lifecare and is applied to all staff and residents collaboratively.  FREDA stands for Fairness, Respect, Equality, Dignity and Autonomy.
  • FREDA is a core part of our induction programme delivered to all new staff and is transferable to everyone including residents, relatives and visitors, visiting professionals and multidisciplinary teams working alongside us.

  • Our aim is to look after all of our residents’ medical, emotional, social, practical, psychological and spiritual needs, and the needs of their families and carers. We look for innovative ways to help support our residents’ needs and we work to closely monitor their progress and outcomes.

‘Our service leadership, management and governance will assure high-quality, person-centred care, supported learning and innovation and it will promote an open, fair culture’.

  • Our staff are at the heart of the service.  Everyone has a voice and is encouraged to share their views and raise any concerns.
  • We have a strong emphasis on the stability and consistency of staff preventing the need for agency staff.
  • Each staff member has a development plan in place and this ranges from hospitality NVQ to Level 5 Leadership in Care.  We enhance the skills of all job titles.
  • Our General Manager, Training Manager, Unit Manager and Team Leaders collectively ensure that the practices of staff are effective and delivered in a dignified way.
