Medici Lifecare prepare planning application for Westminster’s first C2 ‘Continued Care Community’

The Borough of Westminster’s dementia and high acuity care cases are forecast to increase 45% by 2030. This is of particular concern as the Borough presently has the least number of beds registered for high acuity care in London, despite being predicted to have the second highest number of cases increasing over the next 25 years.

Our proposed C.Q.C. registered building on Horseferry Road will offer the highest standards of Dementia, Nursing and Assisted Living Care. This will improve the prospects of some of the Boroughs most vulnerable residents receiving care locally.

Medici Lifecare will be an employer of choice by investing in people through our Training Centre of Excellence. We will be a London living wage attributor, with the proposed building creating permanent employment for over 210 team members. We seek to prioritise local employment whilst working with local suppliers wherever we can.

We passionately believe our care model, which already exists in the US and Canada, will change the UK’s perception of what it means to be resident in a ‘Continued Care Community’ and redefine the career of ‘Care Giver’.
